It is absolutely pertinent to today’s atmosphere to address the horrifying scenes we are witnessing on a daily basis. My heart goes out to everyone protesting police brutality who fight for a better tomorrow. #BlackLivesMatter. It is as simple as that, yet it requires a tremendous movement to get minimal response. Words are lacking to describe how I feel, how appalled I am, how… unjust.
It feels wrong to be writing about my week and how I have the privilege of being able to live my life while others are facing such extreme circumstances. This is why I am not posting a blog post this week. I will be delaying my weekly blog post and releasing it next week alongside next week’s blog.
